Carmen Geddes Workshop Reminder and Supply List

We are lucky to have a local lady who is a nationally known instructor leading a workshop on a great method of machine applique.
Sometimes old dogs CAN learn new tricks!
Here is the supply list and what you get for your $15.00.

Kit fee $10 will include:
Applique Pattern and Layout
Handout
Tear and Wash Stabilizer
Glue Bottle with Fine Metal Tip

Supplies List (You bring) Sewing Machine (need to be able to adjust the zig zag width)
Basic sewing supplies
1/2 yard or one fat quarter light colored cotton for background
Selection of small pieces(fat quarters work well) of assorted fabrics for applique. The sample we will work on
will be a floral motif- so choose colors for the main flower, stems, leaves, etc.
Small travel iron if you own one (there will be some irons to share)
Small ironing surface- you will want one close to your machine (there will be a few to share)
Marking pencil or pen (air or water-soluble works great)
Pencil for Tracing

Clear Mono-filament Thread- Sulky or Superior are my favorites (there will be some to purchase)
